Wickedpedia

We have a new policy regarding how characters can be described on a page. Details about why this is necessary are on RRabbit42's blog.
User Talk pages will be changed over to the Message Wall by the end of the month. See Help:Preparing your Message Wall Greeting for how to put a greeting at the top of it that everyone can see.
We are in the process of getting a bot registered. See A bot for the wiki for more details.
Please help with the upcoming cleanup by not adding any more categories to pages. No more categories for a while explains why.

Information about how pages should be created and their appearance is located here.

Who gets a page[]

This wiki is for the villains that appear in Disney movies and TV shows, as well as those in franchises purchased by Disney such as Marvel and Star Wars. See Wickedpedia:What is a villain? for help in determining who is a villain. These characters get their own page. Syndrome from The Incredibles is definitely a villain and has his own page.

Minor characters such as Mirage from that same movie can also get a page as long as they are a significant part of the story. However, characters that have a very small role in the film, usually performing background tasks such as Syndrome's guards, would not. Heroes and other protagonists would not, either.

In both cases, a brief description of the character can be entered on a single page, such as List of The Incredibles characters. See the instructions on the List preface template for details on creating them.

Tangent/related pages[]

Other pages that are related to the villain in a significant way, such as an object that gives them their power, may also be a candidate for a page. However, consider putting that kind of information on a list page, such as "List of notable objects in The Incredibles".

When there is no villain[]

In some cases, a movie or TV series may not have a clear-cut villain. The Pixar movie Inside Out is a recent example that does not have a villain at all. The closest to that is Jangles, a big clown who is grumpy after being woken up and that in turn wakes Riley up. The Winnie the Pooh movies are another example where there isn't anyone who is evil.

Characters like this could be considered as a "villain by default", but any page for them should not attempt to try and pin a villain label on them.

Categories by franchise/series[]

Rather that trying to use categories like "The Incredibles villains", especially when dealing with situations where there isn't a villain, use an all-purpose category like "The Incredibles" and "Inside Out". This will also allow that same category to be used for the Tangent/related pages.
