Ruby (Disenchanted)

Ruby is one of the two former secondary antagonists of Disney's 2022 animated/live-action feature film, Disenchanted. She is one of Malvina Monroe's assistants, alongside Rosaleen, Ruby is the more dimwitted of the pair. When she is infected by Giselle's wish to live a fairytale life and Monroeville turns into Monrolasia, she is transformed into one of the queen's servants, the other being Rosaleen.

  • Usually, Mays is a redhead. She wore a blonde wig for the film so as not to take attention away from the prominent redhead, Giselle.
  • Ruby's ball dress is based on the one worn by Anastasia.
    • Her and Rosaleen being turned into toads might also be a reference to Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.
