You Poor Unfortunate Soul, this "Old Joe," has been found to need Ursula’s Touch. It MUST be rewritten, see the light, and make a switch!! So says Ursula: the true queen of Atlantica. |
Old Joe is a fence in A Christmas Carol who buys clothes from the dead to sell at a later date.
During Ebenezer Scrooge's future, his former maid is seen selling his clothing to a criminal named Old Joe. Scrooge yells to his former maid that she is fired, but because the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come shrunk him earlier, she can't hear or see him. But then Old Joe is seen with a fire poker swung in the direction of Scrooge. The fire poker was actually aimed at a nearby rat. This starts a three way chase between Old Joe, the rat and Scrooge. He was portrayed by the late Bob Hoskins.
