George Augustus or George II of Great Britain was a greedy king of Britain and Ireland who is the overarching antagonist of the Pirates of the Caribbean: franchise. He is the the unseen overarching antagonist of the The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, At World's End; right before he made his first physical appearance in On Stranger Tides as the overarching antagonist Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and a background antagonist in Dead Men Tell No Tale. He's based on the king of the same name. He lives in St. James' Palace. He was mentioned in the books until he appeared in his first and only appearance that is canon.

Role in the Film[]

When Joshamee Gibbs and Jack Sparrow were caught by the guards when the Courtroom Audience yelled, the guards take them to St. James' Palace. The guards later placed Jack on the chair and the king was mad. Jack Sparrow causes trouble in the palace and humiliated the king. King George was never seen again.
