Joshua is a one-time antagonist in Big City Greens episode "Handshaken" as the main antagonist.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Joshua is a tall man with greyish-green skin and black hair and black eyebrows as well as a grey mustache and 5 o' clock shadow, with powerful big hands.
Attire[]
He wears a white long sleeved shirt with a red jacket, grey trousers and brown boots. He also wears a red cowboy hat which was briefly "owned" by Cricket before being returned to him.
Personality[]
Joshua is a mean person and can get people to fear him and look cowardly because of his bone-crushing grip and strong handshake. He abuses his power of strength (unlike Bill) to fool people because they don't have as strong of a hand like he does. After he is crushed by Cricket his hat is taken as he is no longer the strongest person in the town and considers himself a "dish rag". After seeing Bill's talent, he does the right thing by taking his hat back and leaving the Greens alone.
History[]
Joshua and his gang are first seen at the Feed-N-Seed when Bill is showing Joe where the wheat grain is as they bump into each other. Joshua suggests shaking with Joe but Joe leaves hurriedly. Joshua introduces himself to the kids explaining that his name is pronounced as Josh-wa rather than Josh-oo-a. Joshua then suggests shaking Bill's hand but Bill also says no. As he leaves the kids with Joshua, they get curious. Tilly asks why no one wants to shake Joshua's hand suggesting that it might be because his recent farm work has involved manure. Joshua says it's because they're scared as he has the mightiest handshake. Cricket doesn't seem to buy the fact of Joshua's strength so he and Cricket shake to show him. After shaking, Cricket's hand is all red and burnt and Joshua says that country people's strength is defined by their handshake. Joshua says Cricket has a dish rag grip. He then leaves pushing the kids over with his gang saying he crushed Cricket only with 10% of his power. On the way out, Joshua tries to handshake another person but the same thing happens. Cricket tells Joshua that he'll be crushing his hand the next time they interact.
Cricket, Tilly and Remy return to the Feed-N-Seed with Cricket saying he's here to take Joshua down. The gang however laugh at Cricket. One gang member steps forward to shake Cricket's hand expecting it to be easy but just like Cricket from before, the gang member's hand is burnt to a crisp. The other two members also try but have the same result. After seeing this, Joshua begins to have some interest. He tells Cricket that he's free to shake his hand but he won't go easy on him. To start the shake, Cricket calls Joshua Josh-oooo-a making Joshua angry. Joshua notices Cricket's grip has improved with Cricket saying he's also only using 10% of his power. Joshua then falls to the ground yelping ouch and sucking his burnt hand. Cricket then takes his hat away as Joshua says he's the dish rag.
Joshua is seen once more taking back his hat and thanking and apologizing to Bill.
