Hyenas are dog-like creatures found in Earth and Narnia and they are very likely in of Jadis' Army in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. They never appeared in Lewis' Workshop.

Hyenas appeared during the scene where Aslan is about to die and the battle of Beruna after the Sacrifice of Aslan. Like in The Lion King, hyenas are villains in the movie, working for Jadis the White Witch instead of Scar. When Aslan is about to go to the Stone Table, various hyenas are seen with the ogres, goblins, ghouls, minotaurs, minoboars, vultures, harpies, ravens, wolves, ankle slicers, boggles, chimpanzees, werewolves, white tigers, polar bears, cyclopes, black dwarves, and hags in the crowd. One starts to bite Aslan's foot. The hyenas then fought in the battle of Beruna. In the end of the battle, the hyenas ran away with Jadis' Army after Aslan kills the White Witch,
In Prince Caspian, the hyenas join the Old Narnians, and fight against the Telmarines.
