John Worthington Foulfellow "Honest John" and Gideon are the adversaries of Pinocchio in Disney's movie of 1940: Pinocchio. They are a few swindlers of the second class who always search someone to whom stealing or doing some graft. They think that the life only is to do the vagabond, not to work, to live at the cost of the others, and to never do anything.

John, the fox

J. Worthington Foulfellow, or better acquaintance how "Honest John" (though of honest itshe does not have anything), he is the leader of the duo. Always it is looking for opportunities to obtain money easily, without having to work, and to achieve it takes advantage of Pinocchio's innocence. First it cheats the child of wood in order that one to the world of the spectacle it selling to the puppeteer Stromboli for certain quantity of money. Later, when Pinocchio escapes and comes back home, it runs up again with Juan and turns it to being deceptive: this time sells to the Coachman for more money, and that takes Pinocchio to the "Pleasure Island".

Gideon, the cat

Gideon is a mute cat, and the silly companion of Foulfellow. Guided by his associate, Gideon convinces Pinocchio in order that it does hooky. And whenever Pinocchio refuses because it has hurry, Gideon tries to squash him with a mallet, though the Honest John takes it from him of the hands and gives him him for being so brute.
