Dormammu is the arch-enemy of Doctor Strange. He is a pyrokinetic demon who resides in an alternate dimension. He made an appearance in Spider-Man: The Animated Series (Venom Returns), where he was summoned after Baron Mordo collected the life-force of a hundred people. He served as the primary antagonist in Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme. He is also the main antagonist of the 2016 film except this time he is a pure evil entity of dark energy who wants nothing more than to consume everything into his dark dimension. He entrusted Kaecilius and the Zealots with the false promise of eternal life to destroy the sanctums so he may consume earth.
